The horizontal distribution of six Oyster barrier reefs occurs in the west coast of Bohai sea. Based on the description of geometrical morphology characteristics and dissected profiles for Oyster barrier reefs’ bodies, comparative analysis of X-ray diffraction and laser raman mineral crystal form for Oyster barrier reefs bodies, studying the internal structure and mineral components of individual oyster shell of BKP20-2 profile in Biaokou county under the binocular microscope, and through mechanical excavation and drilling, the author obtain the thickness of spatial accumulation and occurrence elevation of Oyster barrier reef bodies, 14C dating of the vertical direction and the internal structure of the oyster reef accumulation, and horizontal intercalation with content change of CaCO3. As the cold climate, the content of CaCO3 is partial higher. To carry on the analysis for grain size, grain size components and probability cumulative curve, that provides evidence for the Oyster barrier reefs’ ecological environment. The living environment of Oyster barrier reefs is mainly in the subtidal zone. Taking the profile of Biaokou county as an example, the author aslo analysis the biological assemblages characteristics. The results above provide the basis for obtaining the evolution model to the growth, development and extinction of the Oyster barrier reefs’ bodies.
