This article introduced the advanced analytical techniques which is now widely used in earth science for analysis of inorganic elements , including inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES), inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP_MS) and X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF), atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS), atomic fluorescence spectrometry (AFS), electronic probe analysis technology and sharing platform, laser ablation plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICPMS) and speciation analysis.
