The sedimento-minerogenetic series emphasizes the series of sedimentary mineral deposits and their genetic relation, regional distribution, evolution in a definite geological period and relation with tectonic framework. The research results of this subject serve the strategic program of the investigation of sedimentary mineral resources.In this paper four problems are discussed:1. Seven groups of sedimento-minerogenetic series and factors of their formation;2. seven regions of sedimento-minerogenetic series in the mainland of China;3. six time intervals from the Proterozoic to Quarternary for correlation of sedimento-minerogenetic series;4. two major processes for controlling accumulation of sedimento-minerogenetic series.
