The Mesozoic intermediate-acid intrusive rocks in Tongguashan ore-field belongs to the high-potassium (K) calc-alkaline series with main rock types of quartz monzodiorite + granodiorite. Zircon SHRIMP U-Pb dating of Tongguanshan and Tianebaodan bodies showed both have almost the same age, being 141.8±1.0Ma for Tongguanshan and 141.3±1.3Ma for Tebodan body, respectively, indicating they are product of the same period of magmatism.
