Holostratigraphy is a comprehensive stratigraphy based on the global cyclostratigraphy and high resolution event stratigraphy, combined with biostratigraphy, magnetostratigraphy, chemostratigraphy, and other branchs of stratigraphy. The holostratigraphy suggests that it should be done to develop and extract the all of the information inherent in strata so as to devide and correlate the strata in the highest resolution.
