Geological Review is one of the most important core-periodicals in Geology in China. Based on information about the articles pablished in Geological Review in 1936-1995,the number of the authors in all articles has been added up and the co-author's level and the types of their organisations have been analyzed. The results not only show that a continous and higher-level author group has been formed in Geological Review, but also shows that the co-author's level rises gradually.
