The Dasheng Group includes the Malanggou, Tianjialou and Siqiancun formations within the Yi-shu fault zone in Shandong province. It was established by Li Qingping and Zhao Fengjiang in 1992. Its age is considered to be Early Cretaceous based on recent researches some changes have been proposed as follows: the Malanggou Formation is renamed and replaced by the Doushan Formation in the Laiyang-Zhucheng region ? the Xiaoheigou Formation is established; the connotation of the original Tianjialou Formation revised; the Doushan Formation, Xiaoheigou Formation and Tianjialou Formation are incorporated into the Qingshan Group; the Xingezhuang Formation in the Laiyang-Zhucheng region is used to replace the Siqiancun Formation and is incorporated into the Wangshi Group.
