There are three strata distributive provinces named Jiangnan， north Wuyi and south Jiangxi in late Mesozoic era in Jiangxi.Strata characters of each str ata distributive province are obviously different.Based on unconformity interfac e and lithologic character-lithicfacies,and the principle that the group should correspond to volcanic cycle and sedimentary cycle,Jiangnan strata distributive province can be divided into Huobashan group and Guifeng group;North Wuyi strata distributive province can be divided into Wuyi group， Luotang group and Guifeng group;South Jiangxi strata d istributive province can be divided into Yutian group， Lianhuazhai group， Bans hi group and Guifeng group.Interms of the lithology and litholojic phase,and the principle that format ion should correspond to igneous-sedimentary composite facies (s edimentary facies),ev ery group can be subdivided into saveral rock formation.
