Volcanic rocks are widespread over Zhejiang Province, constitute an import ant part of the Mesozoic volcanic belt on the southeast coast of China. This pap er presents the distribution characteristics of geothermal water and mineral wat er in the volcanic area of Zhejiang Province; analyzes the influences on formati on of geothermal & mineral water from factors such as volcanic lithology, petrochem istry, tectonic and geomorphology; submits the significance of comprehensively d eveloping the geothermal & mineral water in volcanic area, also the problems in exploitation which should be noticed.
