The authors introduced the geological background of the Yulong metallogenic zone and discussed the feature of remote sensing geology in the northern metallogenic subzone of Yulong. Based on synthetical analysis of geology, geochemistry and remote sensing, we evaluate the targets in the northern metallogenic subzone of Yulong. At last, there are conclusions as following: (1) the north part of the northern metallogenic subzone of Yulong is an important target area; (2) It is needed to study gold mineralization in the Yulong copper deposits and (3) It is significant that gold mineralization may be found along the northern metallogenic subzone of Yulong.
