National Geological Library of China traced back to 1916 is the earliest scientific and technological professional library institution in China. During the initial period, the leaders LI Xueqing, ZHAO Zhixin, and LU Zuyin were committed to standardizing book- management, constructing independent building, and serving academic research. They made important contributions to the development of China's geological industry, promoting geological technology innovation, cultivating geological talents, and promoting international exchange and cooperation. As institutional founders and field scientists, they have a high industry status and influence, and still have reference and inspiration significance today.
